Hiya all

I follow NFL, NCAA Sports etc and love everything about them.

The Wild Card weekend is one of the best weekends in sport....

The Superbowl is a sight to behold....

March Madness is a gamblers haven....

BUT....

Nothing and i mean NOTHING compares to an Ashes series down under....!:aktion033

Cricket is something special....something pure....just something i cant really explain....watch it and you will find out....

Bring it on....:dancefool

Nice try with the cricket plug County, but I dont like your chances. How are you going to convince people who think a 0-0 draw in soccer is boring ( regardless of the number of chances ) into falling for a game that can go for 5 days and not get a result?

We will just have to keep it our little secret here ( along with a few other edumacated souls ) and watch the Aussies win back the Ashes.

I know what you mean mate!

Me and my mate were at the Wimbledon Tennis Championships a few years back and met two girls from America who couldnt understand how a game could last 5 days but have no result:think2:

We tried to explain but they were not having any of it!:ohno:

Come on Freddie bring home The Ashes!

Cheers :)

Yet watching a baseball game for four hours that has 7 hits and finishes 1-0 is the American pastime. I still laugh whenever I see the TV commentators go crazy over a baseballer picking up and throwing a baseball with his non-glove hand and saying what an amazing play. Could you imagine Ricky Ponting and Mark Waugh fielding with a glove on?

Mate, the only way Freddie is bringing home those Ashes is if he steals them.

Good luck and all the best for the tour.

I truly dont understand why Australia didnt enforce the follow on. I know teams dont like to bat last in a test, but surely the likelihood of that occuring is minimal when you lead by 450.

I wrote this when Australia were 1-170 in their second innings, so while their decision has been vindicated, I still didnt see the need for them to do it.
